The Ash Pit is a hollow crater where a volcano once stood, some distance away from Death City. Nothing grows here anymore and instead the people have taken use of the land and dug a mine deep into the earth. If a traveler goes far enough, some are lucky to find gems and riches beneath the black rock, but it is not without its dangers.
