Completing mission will not only grant you the odd Kishin Egg, you'll also earn money for successful competition. Obviously, completing a higher star mission will grant you with a higher purse, but it will also be longer and more dangerous. Additionally, teams will receive the whole sum as a group and then have to split it up among themselves. Completing a solo mission means that the Weapon and Meister only have to split the money between them.
