Becoming a Death Scythe

GENERAL

It is the goal of every Weapon to become a Death Scythe, and the goal of every Miester to get them there. To become a Death Scythe, a weapon and meister pair must together collect 99 Kishin Eggs and 1 Witch Soul. The Kishin Eggs are gathered by completing missions, after which they are added to your growing total. Once 99 Kishin Eggs are gathered, the Weapon and Meister are able to challenge a witch in the hopes of killing them and collecting their soul.

Be warned, if you fail in your battle against a Witch, all of your 99 Kishin Souls will be nullified and you will have to start again.

WITCHES

Witches are powerful beings with five individual souls. Once all five souls are lost, the witch dies and is eventually reincarnated, usually as a witch by not always. Whether they are resurrected as a Witch, Weapon, Meister or Human, the soul, personality, and appearance of the Witch will be the same. They will also retain memory of their previous life and death. The Witch, when resurrected, will come back to life at the same age of death.

COLLECTING A WITCH SOUL

Once 99 Kishin Souls have been collected by a weapon and meister pair, post a claim in the
DEATH SCYTHE SIGN-UP sheet. All Witch characters created are automatically signed up as opponents for a weapon and meister to face. Once signed up, a pair will be assigned a witch to battle. Using an online randomizer with the numbers 1 to 100 [even numbers designated to the meisterxweapon, odd numbers to the witch] the outcome of the battle will be foretold and relayed. If the Witch wins the battle, the Weapon and Meister pair must start again, losing all of their collected souls. If the Weapon and Meister win the battle, the weapon becomes a Death Scythe and the Witch loses one soul before being regenerated.
